Artisans carry deep knowledge and skills passed down through generations. Every turn of a potter’s wheel and weaving of dried grasses holds the passion to create something new and unique. We need these skills more than ever before and celebrate them here.

I’ve been lucky to find and meet some very talented people through my travels and throughout the UK. Each maker has honed their craft over many years and makes with love. Many create with their hands, meaning that no two pieces are alike. This is the beauty of handmade homeware: pieces may look similar, but each has its own idiosyncrasies.
Many of the pieces have been crafted for We Are Nomads or made in collaboration. Whether that’s a bespoke colourway or shape, I want to create items that you won’t find anywhere else.

“I bought a beautiful present of a candlestick and some Cornish candles for a friend. Easy to use website. Fast postage and my friend loves her gift. Was wrapped really nicely and had personalized note attached.”. See more reviews.

The beauty of handmade craft is the time it takes to create something that will be held or touched daily. The craft teaches us how to be patient. Of course, this is the odds with the modern world we live in, where objects can be produced by the thousands, overproduction is an issue, and that’s why we strive to create with intention.
If you are looking for anything in particular, please get in touch, and we can explore producing something bespoke.
